Mrs. Raluca L. Hanea serves as the founding member of the firm.

Following her graduation from law school in Romania, Mrs. Hanea embarked on a journey to the United States through the US Diversity Visa program. Starting afresh as a young college graduate in a new country, she draws upon her firsthand experience to guide her clients through the legal intricacies and practical adjustments of starting anew. Understanding the trials and tribulations of adapting to a foreign land, Mrs. Hanea provides tailored legal solutions to ease the transition for her clients.

Mrs. Hanea holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia (2009) and a Bachelor of Law degree in European civil law (1997).

In 2011, Mrs. Hanea founded the Hanea Law Firm. Over the years, her expertise has expanded, encompassing immigration law, civil litigation (including contract disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, probate litigation, and property disputes), estate planning, and business law (covering business formation and federal compliance issues). She adeptly represents clients before various courts, including US Immigration and Citizenship Services, the US Northern District Court, Georgia Appellate Court, and all courts across Georgia.

Committed to community service, Mrs. Hanea volunteered with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society in Gwinnett (GLA) for nine months post-law school graduation and remains an active pro-bono attorney with their office. Additionally, since 2022, she has served as an appointed criminal defense attorney for indigent clients facing misdemeanor charges.

Residing with her husband and three children in an Atlanta suburb, Mrs. Hanea attributes her achievements and inspiration to her family. In her leisure time, she indulges in reading, painting, journaling, and immersing herself in nature.

Mrs. Hanea’s guiding mantra echoes the words: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
